The first stage of the procedure is the written examination. It consists of Objective type questions in the multiple choice format. Each question will have four options with only one correct answer.

The written examination will look to test you on your knowledge in the following subjects: Physics, Math, English, Geography, IQ and General Awareness (including aviation).

The duration of the written test will be 3 hours.

Candidates who qualify in the written test will have to appear for an interview.

The interview will aim to test you on your ability to communicate, think quickly and make wise decisions. Please keep in mind that a parent/guardian has to be present at the time of the interview.

The Pilot Aptitude Test will look to evaluate you on your ability to read instruments, your reflexes, control over your movements and the ability to stay calm during extreme situations.

Candidates who qualify in the Pilot Aptitude Test will be subjected to a medical examination conducted by the DGCA.

The admissions will be based on the merit list that will be created keeping in mind your performance in all the three stages and the medical exam report. Please keep in mind that you will only be admitted if you pass in all the stages and the DGCA medical exam considers you fit for flying.
