Uttarakhand Engineering Admissions

Students are admitted into Engineering colleges in Uttarakhand on the basis of their scores in the JEE (Main). Uttarakhand does not have its own state level engineering entrance exam.

Admissions take place through an online counseling procedure that is conducted every year by the Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun (UKTU). All seats are allotted through this online counseling procedure.

The Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun conducts this online counseling procedure in 2 rounds. The first round is for all the seats that are available for admission in all B.Tech/B.E courses. If seats are left vacant after the 1st round, another round of counseling is conducted.
