You will not be eligible for admission into a college if you or your authorized representative do not report for the counseling personally.

Before you report for the counseling, make sure you research in detail about the courses and colleges you can join through this counseling procedure. You should be clear about at least your top 5 choices/preference before you step in the hall for counseling.

You will need to reach the venue on the website on the day of counseling. Reach the venue in time along with originals and self – attested copies of all your important documents for verification including your admit card, mark sheets etc. You will also need to take a bank draft of Rs. 5,000 in favor of FA/CAO, BOPEE.

Once you reach the venue and the counseling begins, you will need to select the courses and colleges you wish to join in order of preference. Mark your choices/preferences based on two main factors:

1. The colleges and courses you seek.

2. The colleges and courses that are likely to admit you based on your rank. Go through the ranks that were admitted by a particular college last year for your course. These ranks are generally available online.

Base your decision on these two factors and make multiple choices to ensure that you receive an admission. Try and select colleges that are as per your preference and are likely to admit you as well.

It’s very important to rank your choices correctly. The highest level choice with an available seat will be allotted to you.

Once you’re allotted a seat, you will need to report at the institute/college within the specified time duration and confirm your admission.
