What do you do after you get your results?

The engineering counseling is conducted for all the State Quota seats (100%) in Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges in Jharkhand and a majority of the seats (State Quota) in Private Engineering Colleges in Jharkhand. All these seats are reserved for Jharkhand State Domiciles.

For admissions into the seats in private engineering colleges that are not available through the JCECEB counseling, contact the college/institution directly.

Your goal is to get admission in a suitable course at a suitable college. The JCECE test result becomes the basis for the admission.

Once the results are announced, you will have to participate in an offline counseling procedure which is conducted by the JCECEB.

You will not be eligible for admission into a college if you do not report for the counseling personally.

Before you report for the counseling, make sure you research in detail about the courses and colleges you can join through this counseling procedure. You should be clear about at least your top 5 choices/preference before you step in the hall for counseling.

The counseling will be conducted at a suitable location in Jharkhand. The details of the counseling will be announced on the JCECE website in due time.

You will need to reach the specified venue on the day of counseling. Reach the venue in time along with originals and self attested photocopies of all your important documents for verification.

Additionally you will be required to submit the counseling fee through an IPO or Bank Challan of the specified amount to participate in the counseling.

Once you reach the venue and the counseling begins, you will need to select the course and college you wish to join out of the ones that offer your course and are available for you at that point of time.

The admission will only be considered as final once you have got your documents verified and paid the counseling fees. You will have to reach the college/institute in which you’ve been granted admission within the specified duration and submit your documents and admission fee so as to confirm your seat.

For further information regarding the counseling procedure, please visit the following website:  http://www.jceceboard.org.
