The duration of the paper will be 3 hours.

The question paper consists of 160 objective questions in the multiple choice format. Each question has four options with only one correct answer. Every question carries equal marks and there is no negative marking.

Your rank will be published on the EAMCET website in due time.

You will be allotted a seat in a course on the basis of your rank through a counseling process.

The syllabus for the EAMCET can be found on this website: http://www.apeamcet.org

What do you do after you get your results?

The medical counseling will be conducted for 100% ‘State Quota’ seats in Government and Government Aided Medical and Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, the counseling is also conducted for 60% ‘State Quota’ seats in Private Medical and Dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

All these seats are reserved only for Andhra Pradesh Domiciles.

For admissions into the remaining 40% seats in Private Medical and Dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh (which are not available through the below mentioned counseling), please contact the college/institution directly.

The engineering counseling is conducted for all the State Quota seats (100%) in Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and 70% State Quota seats in Private Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Admissions into the remaining 30% seats are conducted separately by private engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Your goal is to get admission in a suitable course at a suitable college. The test result becomes the basis for the admission.

Once the results are announced, you will participate in an offline counseling procedure which is conducted by the ‘Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences’ (For Medicine Only).

You will not be eligible for admission into a college if you or your authorized representative do not report for the counseling personally.

Before you report for the counseling, make sure you research in detail about the courses and colleges you can join through this counseling procedure. You should be clear about at least your top 5 choices/preference before you step in the hall for counseling.

Make your choices/preferences based on two main factors:

1. The courses and colleges you wish to join.

2. The courses and colleges that are likely to admit you based on your rank. Go through the ranks that were admitted by a particular college last year for your course. You can obtain the ranks of last year from the counseling website.

Base your decision on these two factors and consider multiple choices to ensure that you receive an admission.

You will need to reach the specified counseling venue on the day of the counseling. Reach the venue in time along with all your important documents for verification and counseling fee.

You will also need to take a Demand Draft of the specified amount (for University and Tuition fee) in favor of the “Registrar, Dr NTR University of Health Sciences’. The Demand Draft should be payable at Vijayawada.

Once you reach the venue and the counseling begins, you will be allotted a seat on the basis of your choices and your rank.

You will have to reach the college/institute in which you’ve been granted admission within the specified duration along with all your documents and admission fee so as to confirm your admission.
