The engineering counseling is conducted for all the State Quota seats (100%) in Government and Government Aided Engineering Colleges in Assam and around 60% of the seats (State Quota) in Private Engineering Colleges in Assam. All these seats are reserved for Assam State Domiciles.

For admissions into the seats in private engineering colleges that are not available through the Assam CEE counseling, contact the college/institution directly.

The medical counseling is conducted for all the 85% State Quota seats in medical colleges in Assam. These seats are mainly reserved for Assam state domiciles whereas some seats are allotted to candidates from the different states of the North East.

Admissions into the remaining 15% seats in medical colleges in Assam are conducted by the DGHS under the All India Quota. These seats are open to candidates from across the country on the basis of their AIPMT results through the following website: http://www.mcc.nic.in/mccres/HomePage.aspx#.

Your goal is to get admission in a suitable course at a suitable college. The Assam CEE test result becomes the basis for the admission.

Once the results are announced, you will have to participate in an offline counseling procedure which is conducted by the CEE admission/interview board.

You will need to apply for the counseling as per the instructions mentioned on the CEE website. After you apply, you will need to report for the counseling in due time.

You will not be eligible for admission into a college if you do not report for the counseling personally.

Before you report for the counseling, make sure you research in detail about the courses and colleges you can join through this counseling procedure. You should be clear about at least your top 5 choices/preference before you step in the hall for counseling.

The counseling will be conducted at a suitable location in Assam. The details of the counseling will be announced on the CEE website in due time.

You will need to reach the specified venue on the day of counseling. Reach the venue in time along with originals and attested photocopies of all your important documents for verification.

Once you reach the venue and the counseling begins, you will need to select the course and college you wish to join out of the ones that offer your course and are available for you at that point of time (on the basis of your rank).

The admission will only be considered as final once you have got your documents verified and paid the counseling/admission fees.

You will have to reach the college/institute in which you’ve been granted admission within the specified duration and submit your documents and admission fee so as to confirm your seat.
