what would be done with c.s
What does a cs do?
Company secretaries are experts in company and securities law (securities as in shares). They are in-house legal counsels and compliance officers. They work in companies. Any company with a paid-up share capital of Rs.5 crores compulsorily requires to appoint a full-time company secretary. Any company seeking to go public has to appoint a company secretary. Many company secretaries run their independent practice, and consult companies who are not legally required to appoint full-time company secretaries.
If you start the CS course immediately after class 12 you can undertake a specialized B.Com course with major in Corporate Affairs and Administration and specialized M.Com Course in Business Policy and Corporate Governance offered jointly by The Institute of Company Secretaries Of India (ICSI) and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
